Submarine Subject Matter Expert
Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional with current expertise in U.S. Navy submarine operations, systems, equipment, and their associated training needs. We’re looking for someone who aspires to make significant contributions and grow in a team dedicated to creating and delivering applied learning and job performance support products and programs that work, for the operational needs of the Submarine Force and other navy communities.
What You Will Be Doing:
You’ll apply your technical expertise and fleet experience in maritime systems and the employment of those systems to benefit the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of training products and technical documentation we design, develop, and deliver to address our customers’ training or performance gap. You’ll be an integral member of a distributed, multi-functional project team working with training analysts, instructional specialists, graphic artists, software programmers, technologists, and project managers. You should expect to be assigned to more than one project at a time.
As a technical and/or operational subject matter expert, you’ll be assigned tasks including: assisting in defining and detailing specific job and duty requirements, adding workplace and job context during storyboarding of training experiences, reviewing and testing accuracy of instructional material and multi-media content that we develop. The production team will rely on you to access, navigate, and interpret information contained in Government-furnished technical manuals and information systems, as needed by each project.
We value partners who maintain a fresh, imaginative, and constructive outlook on their contributions to the success of our project teams and our company, as well as on our customers’ mission success.
