Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Editor to perform project-specific tasks supporting the design and development of job training and performance support products for US Navy and other Government clients. This is a part-time position.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Reviewing and editing instructional materials, learning content, manuals, technical reports and papers, and supporting documents sometimes involving highly technical content
Performing contractor acceptance tests on interactive learning content to verify compliance with testing requirements
Assist learning content development team in documenting instructional design and development artifacts
Collaborate with subject matter experts to confirm, clarify, and accurately communicate materials within a document or training product
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English or related field
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government security clearance – government contract work
Experience in use of the US Navy’s Authoring Instructional Material Content Planning Module and Learning Object Module (AIM CPM/LO Module) is highly desirable. Experience in use of basic graphics software is a plus.
Preference will be given to local candidates.
